2017 Honey Baking Summit Providence OLD

The 7th Annual Honey Baking Summit

June 5th thru 7th, 2017
Johnson & Wales University
Providence, Rhode Island

The National Honey Board’s Honey Baking Summit is an exclusive, all expenses paid event that gathers a small group of the most innovative bread bakers and pastry chefs in the industry for an intensive seminar on how to bake better products with honey.

Honey Baking Summit Agenda

Bench Time and Demos

Get your hands in the dough and work alongside top bakers as we work on multiple made with honey formulas that use different honey varietals. Taste and sample how a challah bread with orange blossom honey tastes different than one with buckwheat honey.

Honey Tastings

Did you know there are more than 300 varietals of honey, each with a unique flavor, aroma and color? Although we won’t taste all 300, we’ll sample honeys from around the world, as well as some of our favorite made with honey bakery foods.

Networking

Spend two days with 20 of the best bakers in the United States. Share ideas and work together on developing exceptional made with honey products.

Apiary Visit

The sound of 60,000+ bees working is something you’ll never forget. Our attendees suit up and visit an apiary, where they are given an up-close and personal peek inside an active hive.
