The National Honey Board’s Honey Summits are exclusive, all expenses paid events that gathers groups of the most innovative bakers, brewers and distillers in their industry for intensive seminars on honey, an all-natural sweetener that offers a variety of functional and flavor benefits when used in baked goods, beer and spirits.

Honey Beer Summit – Austin
Our first summit of the year is the Honey Beer Summit in Austin, Texas. We have partnered with Jester King Brewery, Blue Owl Brewing and other local craft breweries for this event to learn about brewing with honey.
Honey Baking Summit
In June, we travel to Providence, Rhode Island, for our 8th annual Honey Baking Summit. Bread bakers and pastry chefs shared their idea and worked together on developing exceptional made with honey products.
Honey Beer Summit – St. Louis
In August, the National Honey Board goes to St. Louis, Missouri, for its second Honey Beer Summit of the year. Working with Urban Chestnut Brewing, Perennial Artisan Ales and Side Project Brewing, brewers will learn how honey offers a variety of functional and flavor benefits when used in beer.
Honey Spirits Summit
In the fall, we will join with distillers in Louisville, Kentucky, for our Honey Spirits Summit. Distillers will have the opportunity to maximize their time learning about honey and collaborating with their fellow distillers in learning about distilling with honey at Moonshine University.
